Who you will work with
Bob McCarthy (Robert G. McCarthy) has practiced law in Montana since 1990. His practice has focused on representing people in claims against insurance companies after crashes and injuries.
When you hire McCarthy Law, Bob McCarthy is the lawyer responsible for your case, and he stays involved from start to finish.
More than one set of eyes when your case needs it
After more than 35 years of practicing personal injury law, Bob knows when a case calls for more than one lawyer's eyes and skills. He regularly works with attorneys across Montana when that serves a client's needs, for example to bring added trial experience, or a lawyer closer to where the case will be tried.
Working with another lawyer does not increase the total attorney fee you agreed to. It can help move the case toward resolution and toward the best recovery the facts allow. If we recommend it, we explain it to you first, and your written agreement says who is working on your case and how the fee is shared. Nothing changes without your agreement.

How we work
We meet you where it is convenient for you: by phone, by text, by video, at your home or work, or wherever makes sense. You will not sit in a waiting room for an update. We keep you informed with regular calls, texts and emails, and we send you copies of what we do on your case.
Bob prides himself on the efficient and professional use of technology to help deliver legal services to his clients. We use current technology, consistent with the duty of technology competence adopted by the Montana Supreme Court, to reduce delay and keep costs down: secure document uploads, video meetings through our virtual office, and organized case files. Technology supports the work; a lawyer makes every legal judgment.
Where we are
Our office is in Butte, Montana. Office visits are by appointment only. We represent clients statewide by phone and video, and we travel when the case requires it.
